Licensed Professional Counselor, Juvenile Sex Offender Certificate Counselor
Krystle White is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (Birmingham, Alabama) and her Master of Science degree in Counseling and Psychology at Troy University (Montgomery, Alabama). Furthermore, Krystle studied in Louisville, Kentucky at the University of Louisville to earn her Juvenile Sex Offender Certification.
Her internships were completed at HillCrest Behavioral Hospital of Birmingham, Alabama where she gained a wealth of experience with various mental health concerns including substance and alcohol abuse and addictions, Depression, PTSD, anxiety, sexual and physical abuse (victims and offenders), geriatrics and concerns associated with aging. She focusses on identifying root or foundational problems for individuals, couples and families in an effort to assist in appropriate management of their symptoms and discovering the best resolution for their concerns. Security and stability are the goals as she encourages individuals, couples and families alike to step outside of their comfort zones to develop a new peaceful environment for their lives.
Her previous employments include Brewer Porch Children’s Center, Indian Rivers Mental Health Center and Ability Alliance of West Alabama. Children are her area of concentration as she is the coordinator for the Transparenting Program and the Positive Directions Program, both which caters to the needs and concerns of children.
