CHOICES
CHOICES is a free program for teens with theft offenses who need to identify the thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes which led up to their decisions. Family Counseling Service helps teens understand the social and financial impact of their behavior and
all of its consequences.
How We Can Help
CHOICES focuses on identifying positive alternatives to antisocial behaviors, resisting peer pressure, and the long-term effects of positive decision-making. Teens will also gain insight into how to prevent these actions in the future and learn about the positive benefits that can be gained from doing the right thing.

What to Expect
Sometimes teens just make bad choices. Our belief is that the sooner we can engage a teenager who is on a pathway that will be destructive to themselves, their future and those around them, the better chance that teen has of making corrections and getting on a path toward a better future.

The program includes:
1. Assisting adolescents with skills in making positive changes in their lives before they
reach adulthood. Adolescents are given opportunities to practice skills learned in their group sessions.
2. Learning positive coping and relationship skills that will empower adolescents to make positive long-term decisions.
