DOVE
Target Population: Generally, teens involved in violent or violent-leaning offenses, including,

Domestic Violence
Assault
Weapon Possession
Disorderly Conduct

CHOICES
Target Population: Generally, teens involved in non-violent or non-aggressive offenses, including,
​
CHINS
Theft
Burglary
Curfew Violations
Criminal Mischief
Harassing Communications
Probation Violation​
These are suggested guidelines, but the referral decision may consider the overall needs of each individual teen.
Adolescents benefit from DOVE or CHOICES by learning skills such as:
Communication Skills,
Critical Thinking,
Resisting Peer Pressure,
Anger Management,
Goal Setting and
Problem-Solving.
What to Expect
DOVE and CHOICES are each a series of 8 group sessions. Parent sessions are held concurrently to address similar issues in order to impact the home environment and improve the parent-child relationship. This program is offered at no cost to participants.
