Larry Deavers
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
We all face times in our lives when our emotions threaten to overwhelm us. We reach that crisis point where anxiety, insecurity, fear and worry can undermine our sense of feeling valuable, worthwhile, capable and lovable. My approach to helping others is to connect with each person where they are - mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually - with the goal of joining with them to explore practical, real-life options for working through their issues and finding solutions that empower them to walk through their circumstances successfully.
If you are a person of faith, I welcome including your faith as one of your most valued assets in providing guidance and helping you identify priorities for your life. Whether or not faith is a resource you wish to include in your work, I am happy to help you focus on identifying and developing your personal strengths so that you can succeed in a way that is the most meaningful to you and will lead you toward the life you want to live.
